It's Not About Right or Left
It's About Right and Wrong
As the next State Senator for the 33rd District, I am committed to prioritizing the importance of individual freedoms and personal liberties while advocating for limited government intervention to protect citizens' rights, health, and safety. I will work towards fostering more accountable governance by seeking direct input from those impacted by decisions, focusing on practical solutions, and steadfastly upholding constitutional rights. I will address critical issues such as economic freedom, affordability, public safety, education, and parental rights within my District.
It's about the Voice of the People
This campaign transcends political labels of Right or Left, focusing instead on what is right and wrong. Voters of all ages are tired of recycled politicians imposing mandates on Connecticut taxpayers. Individual freedom and personal liberty are inherent rights bestowed upon us. The government should only restrict these rights to ensure the rights, health, and safety of all citizens. When a government is accountable to the people it serves, protecting our liberties yields greater benefits than any government program or mandate. It's time to embrace fresh, family-centered ideas for the future of Connecticut.
I firmly support the preservation of our Constitutional Rights, especially our fundamental American freedoms, such as free speech, religious expression, and the Second Amendment's protection of law-abiding citizens' right to own and carry firearms for personal defense or sportsmanship.
It's imperative that we prevent government mandates from imposing undue burdens on working families, the middle class, elderly, disabled citizens on fixed incomes, and small businesses. The term "mandate," defined as an authoritative command, is absent from both the CT Constitution and the US Constitution, including the amendments to the Bill of Rights. Such mandates, often associated with socialist or communist societies, undermine personal and economic freedoms, posing a threat to our way of life.
I will strongly advocate for making Connecticut more affordable and halting the exodus of residents, students, tradespeople, and professionals by restoring our state's appeal to businesses and citizens.
I advocate for upholding the "Rule of Law" and prioritizing public safety in Connecticut. It's crucial to reinstate liability protection for law enforcement officers, enabling them to carry out their duties professionally without fearing personal liability.
I will advocate for maintaining the Education Cost Sharing (ECS) grant formula aid for the towns in the 33rd District. Leveraging my extensive experience, I will support these towns in ensuring a safe learning environment for students and parents alike.
I strongly advocate for parental rights, firmly believing that parents, not the government or state, should determine what is best for their minor children.
